The 2024 Met Gala went without the full star power of Blackpink. While Jennie dazzled in a striking blue Alaïa dress, her bandmates Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo were nowhere to be seen. Fans were eager to see Lisa and Jisoo make their first appearances at the event, especially after Rosé, who made her debut at the Met in 2021, was spotted at a Tiffany & Co. event just last week. Lisa was busy in Miami enjoying the Formula 1 Grand Prix, while Jisoo was occupied with the filming of her new movie, "Influenza," in Daejeon, South Korea.

Despite the trio's absence, Jennie’s presence made quite the splash. It was her second time at the Met, following her memorable first appearance in a vintage Chanel mini the previous year. Though all four members of Blackpink haven’t yet graced the Gala together, there’s a buzz of hope with Jisoo being an ambassador for Dior and Lisa representing Celine. Perhaps, in the near future, fans will get to see the entire group lighting up the Met carpet.
